Both Curious Kids’ Museum and the Curious Kids’ Discovery Zone are temporarily closed. Safety and providing a healthy environment have been our #1 goal for over 30 years. We will be closely monitoring the Covid-19 situation through early Spring 2021. Please continue to check back here and on social media for updates. We can’t wait to hear giggles again!
MEMBERS: We haven’t forgotten you! We will happily be extending your membership for the length of our closure. More info to come as we approach a reopen date. (Fingers, toes and eyes are all crossed hoping it’s soon!) We are grateful for your understanding and support.
Bring your class to Curious Kids’ Museum or the Curious Kids’ Discovery Zone by Curious Kids’ Museum for both an educational and fun field trip! We’re the place where learning is always fun! We have created a number of exhibits with you, the educator, in mind. Using any or all of our hands-on exhibits can help you meet your learning objectives in real-world ways. Plus, the kids will have a great time! Your trip needs to be booked at least 2 weeks in advance, please.
Students will explore, experiment and remember areas of Science, History, Culture, and technology because of our Hands-on Remember Approach. We have over 100 exhibits and activities that include: The Volcano, Simple Machines, What If I Couldn’t Walk/Talk/See/Hear?, Construction Junction featuring Imagination Playground, Vet Clinic, Floaters and Fliers, Ambulance, Fire Truck and more! NEW Exhibits: Super Speedway, Sandbox, remodeled Farmer’s Market, Magnet Wall and some fun I Spy murals! Have you heard our musical stairs yet?
Your visit to Curious Kids’ Museum includes 1 ½ hours of hands-on learning & fun, split into two 45-minute segments where your group will spend 45-minutes on each of our two levels. A brief orientation is included.
This indoor beachside setting is in addition to our current bluff-top location and is just below the bluff from the Curious Kids’ Museum. Close enough to walk to- when the weather is nice! With enough space for permanent & traveling exhibits, Curious Kids’ Discovery Zone engages K-5th. Explore seven water tables, virtual reality educational exhibits, lighthouse climbing tower, pin wall, and traveling exhibit space.
Visits include a one-hour hands-on tour with a brief orientation. A ride on the Silver Beach Carousel can also be arranged. Silver Beach Carousel Rides are just $1 per person. This option must be booked at the time of the reservation.
The group rate for each location is $3.00 for both children and adults. One teacher or group leader is free. This rate applies only to groups of 10 or more children that have advanced reservations. Any groups of 20 people or less may be sharing the exhibit floor with another group. Visit both Curious Kids’ Museum and Discovery Zone on one date and pay only $5.50 per person!
Due to the increased popularity of The Curious Kids’ Museum and Discovery Zone as field trip destinations, we recommend field trips be scheduled early.
